H.R. 837: Internet Stopping Adults Facilitating the Exploitation of Today’s Youth Act (SAFETY) of 2007

The bill came from the House of Representatives and the bill number is 837. This bill was referred to a  “subcommittee on crime, terrorism, and homeland security.”

THERE IS NO POWER OF CONGRESS THING. :]

The purpose of the bill is to stop adults from exploiting the youth on the internet, as well as other purposes. This bill helps the youth from being exposed to the whole world because of adult predators.

I thinkt that this bill should be passed because if is good for people’s safety. Everyday somebody is harrased by people on the internet or shown to the world on the internet. People are dieing because of this, they commit suicide because of dangerous things going on on the internet.A girl committed suicide because of this. A mother pretending to be a sixteen-year old boy who was hitting on the girl. This was all because the mother wanted to find out if the girl was talking bad about her daugher. The mother turned bad on the girl, giving her mean comments about herself, and the girl committed suicide. We need to do something about this. Innoccent people are getting hurt and exploited to the world because of adults and other people, too.

Next Task:

 S.1210
Title: A bill to extend the grant program for drug-endangered children.
Sponsor: Sen Feinstein, Dianne [CA] (introduced 4/25/2007)

The bill was represented in the Senate and the number is 1210. The title of the bill is “A bill to extend the grant program for drug-endangered children. ” It is currently in the Senate Judiciary committee. The bill was created to extend a program to help drug-endangered children. In other words, they want to help children dealing with drugs or who have parents dealing with drugs and are affected by it. There aere no Power of Congress, so far.  I think that this bill should be passed, but it can have some changes to help the children out a bit. The bill is needed because nowadays kids and adults revolve around drugs.
