form a more perfect Union means to try our best to be more united with our fellow man(and other countries)
Obama is better for that, I think, because he has a better relationship with many countries

McCain would have been a horrible choice. He was a warrior at a time when we were in desperate need of an intellectual and a peace maker. And even if that wasn’t true, a vote for McCain was a vote for Palin. And If McCain had died during his presidency (which would be much more likely than Obama) we’d have to have Palin for president. NOOOOO OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEE should want that. It’d be a nightmare! Palin is a moron!
This bill is bill no. 3228. It a bill connected to the man who created the last bill I talked about. It is by the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. It’s name is ‘To require the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to retain and redistribute certain amounts collected as fines’ and it is in the 110th CONGRESS. It is to require the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to retain and redistribute certain amounts collected as fines.I think it would benefit America and therefore is an excellent idea.
I agree with this bill. I think it is a good idea and that it may help those that are different than us feel more at home in our society, however flawed it may already be.
This is important because he can help or hurt our relationship with other counties using this power
He can patch up skermishes and create many bonds with this abilty
He can help choose people to help him or screw him over, so he must choose carefully.
Receives ambassadors of other nations, thereby recognizing those lands as official countries.
He can create countries, for chirst sakes. The importance is self-explanatory.
Obama won the elcection. I am soooo happy. I had hoped he would would win.
Obama was the popular vote, with 52% of America (62,960,889 people)
I feel like America is finally progressing.
55 was the electoral collage vote.
Now that we have had a black president elected, I feel as though this opens the door for many others who wished and hoped and prayed for true equality, and that now we can really open our minds to the possiblities. I think Obama won because people believe he represents true change. Now, all we can to is put our faith in Obama and hope he comes through.
1.What does the picture show?
The picture shows McCain and Palin trick-or-treating.
2. What do you think the images represent?
They represent the fierce support a lot of middle calss is giving Obama.
That Obama gets a lot of support and that people are not scared of him.
Do you think the author is Republican or Democrat or Independent? Why?
I think the cartoonist is democrate because he potrays McCain in a way that is not flattering.
The polls are exciting and I’m happy. No matter If you like Obama’s ideals of not, you have to admit that a black president is so much more revolutionary than the oldest one. As for me, I do like Obama’s thinking.
This debate was a joke. Between Obama’s stuttering, McCain’s incessant blinking, and the annoying ‘Joe the Plumber’ bit, the debate was funny and hard to watch all at the same time. McCain was pissy half the debate and Obama hardly did any better. When our children and our children’s children watch this debate in their history classes, no matter how revolutionary this is, I doubt we can be very proud of ourselves for that.
Prop 8 is designed to prevent gay marriage. This propisition is a wrong, homophobic action. America was founded on the belief that all men(and woman, eventually) are created equal, and that they have natural rights; the rights to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. But if that is true today, why are we trying to prevent people from marrying the ones they really love, thus overruling that last but certainly important right?
Those against gay marriage(Yes on Prop 8 ) are trying to say that the government will teach about gay marriages at school. It isn’t true. And some will vote yes only because it’s ‘against god’. God has no place in politics. Nor will it ever.
Some are even afraid to speak up, for fear of prosecution, or for fear of being called gay themselves.
What kind of America has people afraid to speak up?
